If I decide to buy a puppy, what do I do next?
1. Notify me by e-mail of the puppy you want listed off the website or other advertisement, include the following: Puppy's title from the advertisement or Webpage, sex, and price listed PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE "READY TO BUY".
2. Fill out the Request Form making sure you include: Your full name, address, telephone numbers as well as the nearest major airport you wish to have as the destination for your puppy.
If you are close to Nebraska and can travel to pick up your puppy -- please note that information also. If you are going to personally pick up your puppy, your puppy must be paid for in advance or payment for the puppy in CASH at the time you receive your puppy.
How do I pay for the puppy and/or shipping?
1. I accept Money Orders or Cashier's Check through the U S Postal Service, UPS or FedEx -- please note that full payment must be received prior to shipment -- sometimes regular postal service may take up to 7 days for delivery. We will send you the Contract/ Guarantee to send along with your payment. NOTE: this form of payment may take up to 2 weeks to confirm through my bank that it is GOOD, and your puppy cannot be shipped until the bank verifies the payment.
2. I accept Bank Wire Transfers -- and can send you information by email on what information you need to take to your bank to process such a payment...
I accept Paypal, which allows you to pay through your bank account or by credit card -- there is a 3% service fee assessed by Paypal -- inform me that you wish to pay through Paypal and I will have Paypal send you an e-mail with a "Request for Money".
3. Shipping to most major airports in the U.S. from Nebraska is running $350 for airfare, crate, shipper's fee and health certificate (rabies shot as required by some States); and a little more to destinations such as Puerto Rico, Canada or Alaska.
4. However, if you are personally picking up your puppy -- your puppy must be paid for in advance or payment for your puppy must be in CASH at the time you receive your puppy
What all do I have to do prior to shipment?
1. All the above information is necessary for the airway bill and Health Certificate prior to shipment -- I would like to have this information at least 1 week ahead of shipment scheduling.
Your full name, address and telephone numbers + the nearest major airport
A signed copy of the Contract/Guarantee -- an individualized contract/guarantee will be sent to you in an email for you to review and accept -- this can be printed off the website and then scanned back to me by e-mail or sent with your payment; or you can FAX it to 308 868-3010
Full payment for the puppy and shipping must be received.
When and how will I know about the shipping of my puppy?
1. Most generally I do not have all that information until 24- 36 hours prior to shipment; however, most puppies will be shipped on a Wednesday or Thursday out of Kansas City or Denver. I provide all the pertinent information to my shipper upon full payment and the airlines coordinate all the flights with a return e-mail of the following: Name of the airlines, Flight No., Confirmation Number and Airway bill Number as well as the arrival time at the destination point. You will know in advance which Wednesday to expect your puppy -- the final details will be emailed to you on Tuesday on or before noon. There are times we need to use alternative shipping procedures, but you would be advised ahead of time to any delays, etc. or as soon as I received any change of information from the airlines.
2. Please make sure you advise who will be picking up the puppy so that person's name can be on the airway bill -- as most airlines will do security checks to make sure the puppy is delivered to the right person.
3. We request that you list 2 (two) major airports that are the closest to your location. Your 1st choice will be the airport that we will try to use; however, the 2nd choice of airport will be the alternative if for some reason we cannot get accommodations through the airport you first chose. Extremely hot temperatures or extremely cold temperatures, along with other situations may cause us to utilize whichever flight pattern will be best for the puppy. We ask that you begin to make provisions for either airports you have selected, so that complications do not arise at the time your puppy is ready to GO!!!! Please remember, our first concern will be for your puppy, we hope you will also trust our judgment for your new baby.
